Tour of the Alps

280 €

The Tour des Alpes is always a unique trip through granite bouldering areas in the Alps. For the more adventurous and resilient, it is a taste of the best that alpine granite has to offer both boulderers and sport climbers. The fine granite of Maltatal, the quantity and quality of the Zillertal, or bouldering with beautiful views in Silvrette are just part of where CLIMBINGBUS has wandered on its way through the Alps. We sleep in tents and moves with good weather, so if you like a style of a climbing nomad, jump on board. At the beginning of autumn the weather in the Alps has been stable for the last few years and it is ideal for an extended weekend of climbing in the mountains.

Provisional program:

Day 1: departure from Bratislava/Vienna towards Maltatal, Zillertal or Felbertal + bouldering (Austria)

Day 2: bouldering in Maltatal, Zillertal or Felbertal (Austria)

Day 3: transfer and climbing in Silvertte (Austria) + transfer Zilllertal (Austria)

Day 4: Climbing in Oetztal (Austria)

Day 5: Climbing in the Zillertali and returning to Bratislava/Vienna

The Tour des Alpes focuses mainly on bouldering, but many destinations offer the same quality options for sport climbing, so packing a harness and helmet is recommended for those with a tendency to sport climbing and change.
